Kelly is a STEM Teacher/Mentor at Fusion Academy Newton. Kelly holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst with a major in Russian and minor in French. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree from Framingham State University with a major in Mathematics, a minor in Spanish, and a license to teach secondary mathematics in Massachusetts.
Kelly loves to see her students get excited about how math helps us to understand the world around us. Her hobbies include playing classic rock and metal on her electric guitar (as she points out: music is math), hiking, and reading novels in the languages in which they were written. She reads Russian, French, Spanish, and, of course, English.
