Jessica joined Fusion in August 2021. She has a master’s degree in School Improvement and Leadership from Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland and a Certificate of Advanced Education Leadership from Harvard University. Throughout her career, she has taught a range of social studies subjects at the middle and high school levels and has served in leadership roles in public schools and in independent international schools in Japan and India. Her most recent role before joining Fusion Academy was Middle School Principal at a K-12 independent international school.
The opportunity to lead at Fusion fits into Jessica’s journey as a progressive educator and leader. She has led the development of large-scale transdisciplinary learning experiences, service-learning partnerships, STEAM and experiential learning programs. She loves that Fusion focuses on developing skills and dispositions in its students that can translate across multiple contexts and support life-long learning about oneself, the world, and others.
When she is not on campus, she is spending time with her family hiking, skiing, or on the beach. She is passionate about her yoga practice, cooking, and hosting gatherings for friends and family.
