Isaac Galef-Brown

Student Exceptionality Lead

History/Life Skills Teacher/Mentor

Isaac graduated with a B.A. in History and a minor in Spanish from the College of Wooster. After working in public elementary schools in Boston, Somerville and Cambridge for a number of years, he completed a Masters in Education from Wheelock College, focusing on Elementary and Special Education.

Isaac is passionate about creating meaningful, trusting relationships with students and incorporating themes of equity and social justice into historical inquiry.  He strongly believes in the philosophy that as teachers and learners, we should strive not to have an answer for every question, but a question for every answer.

In his free time, Isaac enjoys anything and everything outdoors, from working on a local farm, to running ultra-marathons and hiking in the White Mountains. Travel, reading and music are also serious contenders for his free time.
