Brian Taggart

Math and Sciences Teacher/Mentor

Brian is originally from the south shore of Massachusetts growing up along the beach. Brian decided early on he wanted to study Marine Biology.

Brian went to High School in Newport, RI before attending Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY where he completed his BA in Biology.  He took a year off to study Marine Biology in the Turks and Caicos Islands for a semester before spending a semester in Australia where he earned a teaching degree at James Cook University in Townsville.  He also began a Masters program in Marine Biology at Northeastern University.

Brian teaches a wide variety of math and science subjects!

Brian lives with his wife and 3 children, a 6-year-old boy and twin 1-year-old girls, and 2 cats. When the opportunity presents itself he loves SCUBA diving, photography, and exploring waterfronts. He is a passionate baseball fan, the Red Sox specifically, and has coached or played for almost 30 years.

Brian enjoys bringing his passion, obsessive thirst for understanding, and weird background to new games and sports that are brought to his attention and is always happy to learn about new ones.
