Education

Laurence has over 23 years of teaching experience in both public and private schools. He loves teaching and educating mathematics, therefore he is passionate about it. Laurence graduated from the California State University of Northridge, earning a B.A. in Economics with an emphasis in Mathematics. Teaching is his top priority while embracing and challenging each student’s uniqueness by customizing the lesson plans to fit their individual need. Laurence is an enthusiastic, committed teacher who strives to create a positive and fun atmosphere that encourages productive learning.

When he is not teaching, Laurence enjoys spending time in outdoor activities like hiking, backpacking, and playing soccer.

Experience

Laurence taught Special Education with Asperger's syndrome, high functioning Autism, anxiety-related disorders, and nonverbal learning disabilities. He has designed and presented comprehensive lesson plans which incorporate ESLRs. He also collaborated with colleagues to integrate new activities and allocate effective resources.
