Single Subject Spanish (7-12), BCLAD (Bilingual Cross-cultural Language and Academic Development)
Darlene Cox graduated from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania with a major in Spanish. She then earned her Single-Subject Spanish and BCLAD credentials from California State University, Fullerton and a Master's Degree in Language Development from Azusa Pacific University.
Darlene taught bilingual third grade for two years then became a Teacher on Special Assignment. Her job entailed providing teacher training as well as serving as the school district's bilingual coordinator. She volunteered extensively while her children were enrolled in a Spanish dual immersion program and substitute taught at the high school level as well. She is in her 5th year with Futures (Fusion) teaching Spanish and Mindshift.
