Education

Guillermo graduated from the Polytechnic University in the city of Medellin, Colombia with an A.S. in Industrial Technologist, then with a B.S. in Productivity and Quality Engineering. In the United States, he graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelors in Business and completed in the same university at Madison campus his MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurial studies.
He holds three professional certifications in Spanish, ESL Bilingual/Bicultural and Executive and Organizational coaching.

Experience

Guillermo taught Business Administration to undergraduate students in Colombia at the same Polytechnic University he attended. Guillermo published a book based on his years of teaching. His book is related to applied statistics in business. In the US he taught Spanish at County College of Morris, (CCM), Morris County School of Technology, and Randolph High School. Guillermo got his tenure at Somerset County Vocational and Technical High School where he works full time teaching Spanish from beginners to advanced levels from 9th to 12th grades.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • Guillermo loves photography & traveling (Bermuda, Greece, Italy, France, Switzerland, Costa Rica & The Dominican Republic). He loves motorcycles (Kawasaki Versys 650 - touring/sport)
  • Won The Excellence in Education Award at The Committee of Teaching About The United Nations (CTAUN). Completed a global project with a NGO based in Peru helping indigenous people with health and well being
  • Loves road/mountain cycling. Favorite music band is U2
