Education

Aoma graduated from Oberlin College and the Oberlin Conservatory with majors in East Asian Studies, history, and cello performance. She also studied abroad at both Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea and Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan.

Experience

Aoma comes to Fusion from more than a decade of Suzuki and traditional one-on-one music education, working with ages two to seventy-four. She also worked in Ohio public schools before finding Fusion.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • Approaching a thousand-day streak on Duolingo
  • Is an avid kale gardener, and would love to expand her garden and grow fruit trees one day.
  • Enjoys experimenting with new combinations of foods.
