Sammi offers students guidance and help with their homework as a teacher in Fusion’s Homework Café. They graduated from the University of Miami (UM) in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Women & Gender Studies.

Experience

Sammi has experience fostering empowering one-on-one relationships through their previous work as a case manager. They also worked as an LGBTQ+ program coordinator while at UM, which began their professional commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

  • Sammi loves outdoor adventures like kayaking, biking, and hiking.
  • Most days Sammi enjoys a quiet day inside with a puzzle, good cup of coffee, and their cats.
  • By being a member of the marching band, Sammi met several celebrities such as Shaquille O’Neal, Gloria Estefan, Paris Hilton, and GRiZ!
