Emmanuel Parello

French and History Teacher

Emmanuel Parello is a teacher/mentor in History and French. He received his B.A. in History from UCLA and his M.A. in Elementary Education from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.  He has worked in the Los Angeles Unified School District as a 5th grade teacher, where he began his career as a Teach for America corps member.  He then went on to work as an assistant language teacher in Kobe, Japan with the JET program, and upon returning to California, taught 3rd and 5th grade for seven years at the San Diego French American School.  During the Covid-19 pandemic, he worked as a one-on-one homeschool instructor and private tutor in San Diego, CA.  Emmanuel enjoys reading books about history, hiking in national parks, and playing piano.  He is new to Miami and also enjoys tasting all of the juices at Palacio de los Jugos.
