Elias Rischmawi graduated in 2012 from Miami Dade College with an Associates degree in Art/Art Education. In 2016, they graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Photography/Film.
Upon graduating in 2016, Elias began work at the New York Times as a Staff Editor while also freelancing with PAPER Magazine and Hearst Digital Media. In 2019, they went on to work as a full-time freelance creative achieving photo, production and design needs. In their personal art practice, they host workshops and dinners to educate folks on forgotten art forms and traditions from their culture, aiming to preserve ancestral knowledge.
