Dana Voss was born and raised in Miami. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminology from the University of Miami. Dana earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida International University. She also holds a certificate in Educational Therapy from University of California, Riverside Extension. She began her teaching career in 2004 in a traditional middle school classroom setting. After a few years, she decided to join a small private school for students with dyslexia. She realized her passion for helping students with learning difficulties and continued to help children and families academically, behaviorally, and emotionally. Dana enjoys creating and implementing multisensory lessons and helping students of all ages grow and succeed.
Dana is married with two young, active boys, and two sweet dogs. In her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends at the beach. She also enjoys traveling to watch her boys race BMX all over Florida and across the country. Dana has a passion for helping animals. She volunteers for a rescue organization and fosters dogs until they find their forever homes.
