Mo Adib

Math and Science Department Head

Mo has a strong passion for math and science. The joy he experiences through math and science motivates him not just to teach, but to help his students understand how concepts are related to career pathways and to our daily lives. His philosophy of teaching is to allow students to become their own teachers and to help them find their own best ways to learn.

Mo was born and raised in Tehran. He graduated in 2011 from the University of Garmsar in Iran, where he earned a B.A. in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Electronic Circuits. In 2012 Mo moved to the US, and lived in San Diego and Los Angeles before landing in Marin. He continued his education in Computer Science at San Jose State University. Currently, Mo is working on his Master's in Mathematics.

In his free time, Mo enjoys working on cars, riding a motorcycle, cooking, and playing soccer. Mo is a big foodie, and he loves Costco.

Fun fact: Most of Mo's relatives are teachers, and his last name means “teacher” in Farsi!
