Education
Karen has a Bachelors in Mathematics from Cornell College, in Mt. Vernon Iowa, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Karen then went on to obtain a Masters in Applied Mathematics from Colorado State University. She also brings a certificate of Spanish from the Universidad de Alcala de Henares, Madrid, Spain.
In her free time Karen enjoys time with her three sons. She also loves spending time loving dog, Pancho. Fun fact: Karen loves playing card and board games!
Experience
After starting her career as a Telecommunications Engineer in both the US and Spain, Karen transitioned into education. She has worked at high school level, community college level and has tutored all ages from K-college.
