Director of the Homework Cafe
John is new to NYC, having moved from Jacksonville, FL. He studied at Florida School of the Arts, where he majored in Theatre Acting. From there, he studied at Marshall University, graduating with a BFA in Theatre Acting and Directing. He found the performing arts to be a great wealth of interpersonal experiences, collaborative effort, communal growth, and personal development. While in college, John also studied Biology, and continues to work towards completing his Pre-Med requirements. He is also a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine.
As an infant John was diagnosed with Hemophilia, a chronic blood disorder. It was through discovering physical fitness that he was able to conquer the debilitating effects of the disease. From his experiences, he has become passionate about empowering and inspiring others to overcome challenges through physical fitness.
He is very passionate about theatre, film, photography, and literature. He enjoys the busy city grind, but loves to decompress with an outdoor adventure, or a boisterous family event. John is immensely excited to be here at Fusion Academy, and looks forward to building a productive relationship with the students!
