Science and Math Teacher/Mentor
Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Kendall is an IT professional with more than 20 years of experience. While living overseas, she spent 3 years volunteering in her children’s school and realized how much she enjoyed teaching.
Kendall received her undergraduate degree in English from James Madison University and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia Tech. She began the Career Switcher program at Shenandoah University with the desire to become a math teacher. With the growth of STEM/STEAM programs, the importance of math and science has never been more key – especially for girls! She wants to bring her enthusiasm and passions to the classroom and make learning fun!
Kendall lives in Ashburn with her husband, two middle school children, and dog (yes, she’s an animal lover, too). She has been fortunate to live in lots of places like Washington DC, Fort Worth, TX, Atlanta, GA, Nashville, TN and Surrey, United Kingdom. Travel is definitely one of her passions along with sports, movies and just hanging with her family!
