Emily Campos

Science and Spanish Teacher/Mentor

Emily is a new teacher/mentor here at Fusion Academy. She studied at Christopher Newport University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology and a Bachelors of Art in Spanish Language and Literature, May 2019. She is pursuing a career in medicine, but has found joy in working with children and aiding in their education in the meantime. This past year Emily worked with various families privately as a personal tutor which allowed her to work one-on-one with kids struggling with virtual learning.

Emily aims to have a trusting and supportive relationship with each student she gets the chance to work with. Emily’s main goal is to explore different learning methods that permit each student to be successful in their course while also allowing them to be creative. Emily wants to be someone her students can approach easily with their concerns and someone parents feel they can trust to provide proper education to their child.

Emily is a local in Leesburg, VA. Emily is Latin-American and fluent in Spanish. She is a happy owner of a miniature Husky and German Shepard mix pup named Bella. Emily enjoys reading, hiking, working-out, and binge watching new shows.
