Lisa Adams is a Yale graduate with a major in biology and a minor in psychology. She graduated early at the age of twenty and actually moved to Casablanca, Morocco where she was privileged to teach at an international school for during a gap year before matriculating at Stanford University’s School of Medicine. Lisa really thought she would become a physician; however, after careful consideration, and three years of hard work, she left medical school. She did some serious soul searching and returned to the field of education where her true passion lies, in working with students and their families, enrolling in and graduating from SJSU with her Teaching Credential in biological sciences. She has been teaching, counseling, and coaching for over a decade now and couldn’t be happier with her chosen path! She works with students in our Homework Café space and as a test prep teacher.
