In 2019, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UCLA and completed the CalTeach Science Education Internship in my senior year. Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Science in Software Engineering at Cal Poly Pomona and hope to complete many other milestones in my higher education. Starting early in my undergraduate career, I have accumulated over 5 years of instruction and counseling experience through my work with various elite Los Angeles education agencies. I have expertise over a wide range of subjects, reflective of my interdisciplinary education and interests.
I have worked with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities and strongly believe that with a personalized approach, every student has the capacity to learn and achieve academic success. I work hard to create a welcoming environment for my students and give them the confidence they need to reach their full potential. Through hard work, humor, and patience, I know even the toughest material can be mastered.
As a first-generation college student, I understand the pressures and anxieties families can feel through every stage of the academic experience. Applying my knowledge and expertise, I have helped many families navigate through the complexities of the educational system and lead them toward success.
As a future software engineer, I hope to use my skills to create tools capable of improving people’s lives and make this technology accessible to all communities to help bridge the digital divide. I hope to use my education and career as a means for helping others and continue my lifelong commitment to community and service.
