After earning two bachelor degrees in Biology and Political Science at the University of Southern California, Tory Toyama joined Teach for America and enrolled at Loyola Marymount University. Tory graduated with an M.Ed. and California teaching credential while working at Wilmington Middle School, before transferring to Venice High School. His 17 year teaching career includes short stints at Dorsey High and Mesivta Birkas Yitzchok. He also referees high school football games during the Fall, and is a certified starter for track and field meets in the Spring.
