Louie Rabago

Teacher/Mentor

Education

Louie graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2015 with 2 BMs in Film Scoring and Electronic Production & Design with a minor in Video Game Audio.

Experience

Louie has held more than a handful of positions in this wild west that we call the music industry. In Boston, Louie started his career as a producer where he would write music for short films and games. When he wasn’t composing, Louie was a tutor at Berklee. He helped his peers with core music, production, and recording. After graduating, he moved back to his hometown of Palm Springs and began teaching privately at Guitar Center, gigged as a bassist, and was Co-Music Director for the Boys and Girls Club Heatwave Jazz and Show Band. A year into that journey, Louie was offered a position at the Record Plant recording studios in Hollywood. That’s when he made his move to LA and began producing for artists and began teaching at Environmental Charter High School as their music director.
