Denise teaches American Sign Language, English, History, and Life Skills at Fusion Academy. She attended California State University, Northridge, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Deaf Studies with a concentration in Deaf Education.
She worked as a pre-school teacher and tutor while still in college, and has worked as a behavioral interventionist for children with Autism and other learning difficulties. Denise is passionate about making education accessible to all children, regardless of individual challenges, and seeks to provide a warm mentoring relationship with all of her students. Her goal in life is to have a positive impact on as many people as possible. Denise enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, reading, and napping.
