Education

Brooks earned a BA in Honors Math & English from Notre Dame, and completed his graduate education at UCLA studying number theory, where he had the opportunity to take classes with the renowned mathematician Terry Tao.

Experience

Brooks has several years’ experience teaching and tutoring mathematics to students of all ages, from 5th graders working on fractions, to adults preparing for their GRE. He also worked designing curricula for various education centers in the past.

  • Brooks is a native Chicagoan.
  • He enjoys reading and writing, and is working on a novel about college life.
  • He can be found hanging out in coffee shops, bookstores, music venues, and art galleries; distance running; and spending time with his growing family.
