Education
Rob Eaton has been teaching in classrooms since he was a nineteen-year old education student at Adelphi University in the 1990s. As a member of Adelphi’s Scholar-Teacher Education Program (STEP), he was given opportunities to study at a variety schools and with students at a collegiate level; he has gone on to continue his research into education in the 21st Century, special education, service learning and promoting the importance of social studies in America.
Experience
Rob Eaton has spent much of his career on the other side of the bridges, teaching at private schools in the Bronx and Westchester. While much of his day was dominated by teaching history, his career has seen him as coach, service program coordinator, new teacher mentor, and the moderator of over a dozen clubs and extracurricular activities.
