Matt Alessandri is a teacher and mentor. Matt graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in environmental engineering and a Master’s Degree in policy and innovation. He later graduated from Cardozo School of Law in Manhattan with a Juris Doctor in law, with a concentration in Intellectual Property and Patent Law. It’s safe to say he likes being in school, whether as the student or the teacher.
Matt has a brother with Tourette Syndrome and has long been involved with the Tourette Association of America, both locally helping parents to navigate the special education process and nationally through yearly advocation for children with special needs on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. In his free time, Matt is either watching hockey or growing fresh fruits and vegetables to use in his kitchen. He considers himself an expert cook and prides himself on making healthy foods taste good.
