Kiera Carter

Experience

Since receiving her degrees, she has had the opportunity to teach 6th, 7th and 8th grade math in a Catholic school. She has also had the chance to be a Teaching Assistant in a Math Enrichment Program and a Substitute Teacher within multiple schools on Long Island. Kiera is also an avid swimmer. She is licensed in Water Safety Instruction, lifeguarding, and CPR. She swam on her school swim team throughout high school and college. She has been active the last five years coaching swim teams and teaching swim lessons. Her greatest passion is teaching and mentoring her students and watching them succeed. She is excited about the one-to-one teaching style at Fusion Academy where students are seen as unique individuals who bring their own styles and personalities. She lives her life with enthusiasm and a zest for inspiring and being inspired. She teaches her students with compassion and kindness.
