Bonnie received her bachelor’s degree in Art History (with a minor in education) from SUNY Oneonta, and her master’s degree in Adolescence Education, English, from LIU- CW Post.

Experience

Bonnie teaches English at Fusion Academy and joins us with a broad base of teaching experience. Her previous positions include teaching English at both the middle and high school levels, in both general and special education, and in one-to-one, small group , and full-class settings.
Bonnie enjoyed working for over 10 years in the Harborfields School District, most recently teaching Public Speaking, Debate, Power Vocabulary (SAT prep), and Creative Writing at the high school. Her first teaching position, at The American School of Pachuca in Mexico, instilled in her a love of teaching —- of the challenge and fulfillment in helping students learn. In addition to teaching, she worked as an editor in the New York publishing industry.

Bonnie is delighted to be part of the Fusion family where she continues to work with students to help them strive and grow both personally and academically.
