Education
Emily Shearer completed her French major/ Art History minor at UNC-Chapel Hill and the Institute for American Universities in Avignon, France. She pursued a course of graduate studies at George Mason University in the area of Creative Writing.
Experience
Emily had her first virtual teaching experiences on closed-circuit satellite TV! She has taught French to classrooms around the country via satellite; she's also taught yoga in a karate gym, preschool classroom and junior high cafeteria! She currently shares Write Om; Yoga for Creative Writers workshops in area studios.
