Director of Outreach
Stephanie Alexander is the Director of Outreach for the Houston Galleria and Sugarland campuses. She has a Master of Arts in Bicultural-Bilingual Studies with a concentration in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She also has Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and in Photography from Sam Houston State University.
Stephanie has worked as a Director of Marketing and Patient Advocate for medically fragile and special needs children. Prior to that, she worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center as a Visa and Immigration Advisor, helping international physicians and researchers study and work in Houston. She was also an International Advisor for Lone Star College, helping students pursue their dream of obtaining an education in America. Her goal is helping people get from Point A to Point B, whatever that means for them.
Stephanie lived abroad for four years, spending three years teaching English at an all-girls Buddhist high school in Japan. She found it rewarding to watch students grow from being shy, timid students to becoming confident in both their English abilities and in their lives. She is thrilled to get back into education and excited about once again helping students reach their goals.
In her free time, Stephanie enjoys working out at Orange Theory, watching/playing sports, running/riding along the bayou, and traveling. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their four puppers, Dr. Krieger, Barley, Pip, and Culzean (who was named after the castle in Scotland where she and her husband were married).
