Alex McMullen was born in Clear Lake, Texas. His family moved to Chile for a year when he was 4 where he was first introduced to Spanish. After moving back from Chile, they moved to Bellaire in Houston where he went to Saint Thomas Episcopal until sixth grade. In sixth grade, his family moved to Navasota where he stayed at the public school there until graduation.
After graduating from high school, Alex went to A&M for two years and Sam Houston for two years. After graduating from college he got married and interned at a family law firm for 9 months before going to law school at South Texas College of Law.
Throughout his life he has worked as a bench technician at Reynolds and Reynolds, a camp counselor at Camp Peniel, worked as a zombie in a haunted house in Huntsville, worked as a shepherd on an alpaca ranch, worked in small business litigation, estate planning, oil and gas law, criminal law, family law, and personal injury. He also volunteers with his church's youth group where he films silly home videos.
Alex enjoys video games, dumb home videos, puns, witty nonsense, ironic paradoxes, writing bios, being meta, 80s cult movies, animals, playing the bagpipes and tuba, making songs out of everything, reading about Socrates and Jesus, and sitting by a pond listening to nature wondering whether there is other life in the universe and why we're all here.
