Presentation Overview
This presentation will explore the spectrum of social skills, why they are important, and the current state of social development among today’s children and adolescents. It will also provide practical strategies for how parents, schools, and community providers can work together to support students’ social skills and relationships.
About the Presenter
Dr. Rachel Fein is a licensed psychologist specializing in the assessment of Autism and ADHD in children, adolescents, and adults. She also provides parent support and guidance to families of neurodivergent children. Dr. Fein completed her internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital. Prior to entering private practice, she worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, schools, and community mental health organizations. Outside of her practice, Dr. Fein is the mother of two very active boys, giving her plenty of firsthand experience navigating the joys and challenges of raising children!
