Over the last 30 years, as a professor and Doctor of Education and a former Director of College Guidance at two prestigious New England prep schools, Andy has guided over 1,100 families through the daunting (but exciting) maze of the college application, admission, and decision-making process. He has taught all levels of Latin and a lot of history courses!
For the past 9 years, Andy was an Associate Professor in the Counseling, Educational Leadership, and School Psychology department at Rhode Island College in Providence, where he taught aspiring guidance counselors and principals. Frequently published in professional journals, he has offered workshops and been a speaker at national and international conferences. Andy completed his doctoral work at Boston University and undergraduate studies at Trinity College in Connecticut.
When not engaged in academic tutoring and test preparation, you can most likely find Andy working on restoring a 1972 BMW 2002 (“I wanted this car since I was 5 years old. It passes the state inspection, but it still needs body and interior work before riding in it doesn’t embarrass my kids”). Andy lives outside of Boston where he tirelessly cheers on the Red Sox with his wife of 28 years. His three sons (24, 21, and 17) are his pride and joy.
