When kids are anxious, it’s natural to want to help them feel better. While it may seem natural to protect your child from anxiety inducing situations, your child will benefit from learning resiliency as they confidently face their stressors. As parents there are many things to say and do that will calm your child’s anxiety. Tracey and Holly will describe specific communication strategies that will bring confidence and control to your anxious child. They will highlight phrases and techniques that will help your child overcome their anxiety and teach them to deal with anxiety as it comes up. Join Holly and Tracey as they present their strength based approach to parenting an anxious child, which is founded on compassion, confidence and resilience.
