Education

Experience
As the Director of Student Services, I am a highly committed and compassionate person. I bring hands-on experience in delivering academic guidance, behavioral support, and social-emotional development strategies to diverse student populations across both middle and high school settings from experience I have gained during my internship I completed for my Masters in School Counseling.
At the high school and middle school that I interned for, I managed a varied caseload that included English Language Learners, students with disabilities, and students from underserved backgrounds. My responsibilities included academic planning, course selection, and detailed transcript analysis to support graduation, A-G, and NCAA eligibility. I actively participated in 504 and IEP planning teams to ensure tailored student support. I have provided individual and group counseling, focusing on topics such as academic motivation, peer conflict, mental health awareness, and anger management. My approach is proactive, student-centered, and data-informed, helping students overcome barriers to success both inside and outside the classroom.
Additionally, I served as the Senior Teacher with the City of Roseville’s Adventure Club, where I lead classroom instruction, provided staff training, and resolved student behavioral concerns using a solution-focused framework. I am seeking to bring my counseling expertise, strong organizational skills, and deep commitment to equity and student well-being to a school or educational organization that values proactive student support and collaborative service delivery.
