Thinking about your teen or tween interacting with unknown people online can bring up overwhelming thoughts and feelings. Whether they engage with a mutual friend or someone they met through gaming or social media, it’s important to have proactive conversations about staying safe and noticing when it’s getting uncomfortable. Breathe easy! There are tools that can help you and your child speak openly with non-judgement. We invite families, educatiors, and community members to join us in an uplifting and practical workshop about how to start the conversation, do regular check-ins, and intervene in a way that makes everyone feel respected and confident.
