Shannone Hawkins is a History Teacher at Fusion Academy. She was born and raised in Bridgeport, CT. She attended Southern Connecticut State University, where she earned a bachelor’s in history and Communications.
Her passion in Education comes from advocating for justice within the Education system. In 2019, she began working for The Connecticut Juvenile Justice Alliance, non-profit that focuses on Ending the Criminalization of Youth, while also working as a Mental Health Worker for the Boys and Girls Village in Milford, CT.
She enjoys cooking, she loves to spend her free time creating recipes and home-made spices. She also enjoys walking her two French-Bulldogs Kairo and Bronco on the beach.
