Colleen graduated from Lenior-Ryhne University in North Carolina with Bachelor of Arts in Education.

Experience

Colleen has worked in Education for over 20 years. Colleen worked at GLAD (Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness) as a Lead teacher, counselor and mentor for Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program for Deaf teens. She also taught Deaf inner city kids of LA with the Los Angeles Unified School District for 6 years before moving back east to pursue teaching.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • Colleen was the first Deaf varsity cheerleader for her college for 4 years
  • She loves to go running everyday, loves to travel, and loves to go to the beach as it's good for the soul..
  • She visits her 2 daughters at their colleges and spending time with her son and husband.
