Science & History Teacher/Mentor
Ashley Treat is a Science and Social Studies teacher for grades 7 through 12. She graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in history and anthropology from the State University of New York (SUNY) Geneseo. She earned a MAT degree in Social Studies Education from Union Graduate College and a MA degree in Science Education from Western Governors University. Currently, Ashley is pursuing a Sixth-Year Certificate in Educational Administration and Supervision at the University of Bridgeport.
Ashley taught for three years at The Pinnacle School in Stamford and for two years at Woodhouse Academy in Milford. She also teaches civics and biology classes for the Stamford Adult and Continuing Education program.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys cooking and baking on the weekends. During the summer, she likes to garden while her four cats watch from their outdoor enclosure.
Ashley began collecting rubber duckies in college, and her friends and family add to her collection when they travel.
