Experience

Giselle offers a warm and inviting space for students to immerse themselves in the creative process as Fusion’s art teacher. She helps guide them in expressing their inner voice and encourages them to discover what inspires them. She earned her associate’s degree in Illustration from Parsons School of Design, her bachelor’s degree in general studies from Pace University and her master’s degree in painting from The College of New Rochelle. She has been an avid painter since she can remember and art educator for over 15 years. As an adjunct at Dominican College in Orangeburg, NY she taught studio art and art history. As an art enrichment teacher at a middle school with a large population of disadvantaged students she established a creative haven for students wanting to experience art making independently in a stress free environment.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • Giselle loves to take long walks totally “unplugged” listening to the leaves rustle in the wind amongst the trees and feeling as close to nature as possible.
  • Four years ago someone who saw her artwork online asked if she’d be interested in painting “Live” at their sister’s wedding and she said “Uhh… sure why not?” She went and set up her easel in the reception hall and painted away loving every minute of it. Ever since then she has been lucky enough to continue being a live event painter.
