Education

Whitney McCabe is an ELA instructor and mentor at Fusion Academy. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English Education at the University of Central Oklahoma.

Experience

Whitney began teaching high school English Language Arts classes in Oklahoma City immediately after graduating college. Prior to joining Fusion, Whitney taught 6th-12th grade ELA for 10 years in Denver Public Schools.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • In 2014, Whitney moved to Ft. Worth, Texas and spent entire her summer working for a gubernatorial campaign!
  • Whitney loves to travel and has taken many solo trips, including a 12-day European tour of 10 countries!
  • Whitney enjoys film, cooking, theatre, podcasts, reading, thrift shopping, camping, snuggling her pets, going on long walks, and sitting in her backyard hammock!
