Education

Jillian Gilmer holds a BA in English Literature and a minor in French from the University of Colorado Boulder, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2013. She received her MA in English Literature from CU Boulder in 2016.

Experience

Jillian has been teaching, tutoring, and coaching students in and out of the classroom since 2014. She spent 5 years teaching at the university level, which included classes in literature, history, and writing & rhetoric. In 2020, she began working with middle school and high school students in a private education setting, where she helped with humanities coursework, SAT and ACT preparation, college readiness, and time management strategies. She is eager to return to the classroom and craft English and History courses for Fusion Academy.
