Amy Beinecke is a Spanish, yoga and fitness teacher at Fusion Academy Denver. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education/Spanish and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University. She has taught all levels of Spanish for over 10 years. In addition, she is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher after completing 1000+hours of teacher training.
Amy lives and breathes movement and approaches it playfully. In addition to her Iyengar practice, she appreciates and participates in dance, aerial yoga, multiple forms of fitness including rock climbing, hiking and biking. She is a curious, self-described nutty professor and considers herself a life-long beginner…ready to investigate, link, and connect the movement dots with the myriad of positive mind/body boosts which result. There is always something to learn!
She is a traveler and adventurer with fond memories of Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Kauai and with hopes of further travel both domestically and abroad. When not teaching, she can be found jamming to her eclectic musical taste, climbing or hiking with her younger daughter, thrifting or antiquing with her older daughter or adventuring with her love, family or friends. Her two beloved cats get a healthy dose of her attention, as well!
Fun Fact: Amy is a novice jewelry creative who has made and sold hundreds of gemstone, upcycled baubles locally and nationally.
