Description

Children and adolescents these days struggle with a variety of cognitive and emotional challenges that affect every area of their lives, from school performance, to social engagement, to health and wellbeing. Countless studies have shown that such challenges tend to have clear roots in the brain, as the brain affects everything we think, feel, and do.

What to expect:

This presentation will provide important information around the neurophysiological roots of chronic and traumatic stress, as well as various mental health and learning challenges, such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD. Dr. Bell will also provide practical tips and guidance on how to balance the brain to promote optimal wellness of the mind, body, and heart/spirit. She will also discuss advancements in technology-based interventions designed to rewire the brain, such as neurofeedback, neurostimulation, and neuropeptide therapy, all of which have shown high levels of effectiveness for reducing anxiety, improving attention, boosting mood/emotional regulation, and enhancing overall cognitive function.
