Christian Herrmann

Christian was born and raised in Carrollton, Texas. He moved to Denton in 2015 to start school at the University of North Texas, where he majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from UNT in Fall 2018, graduating with cum laude honors. During his time at UNT, he worked as a tutor and was a board member on the Hall Association to help students adjust to daily life and create social events for students living on campus. He also spent time as a basketball official for both the college intramural league, and with the YMCA developing youth basketball league.

Christian is thrilled to be here with Fusion and have the ability to spark students’ interest in the wonderful world of science and help illustrate how they will use the principles they learn in their daily life.

In his free time, Christian likes to play video games, especially: Madden, NBA2K, Fortnite, and recently Among Us. He also loves to play ping-pong and dominate the basketball court. He is a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks. Christian also enjoys watching superhero and Sci-Fi shows such as the Flash and the 100. Additionally, he is obsessed with Criminal Minds and the Office.

If the weather is nice on a Saturday, you will likely find Christian on his JetSki or tubing on his brother’s boat. Family is very important to him and he spends most of his time hanging with his family and his lovely girlfriend. Christian believes no one should ever feel afraid to ask a question because every question is an opportunity to learn.
