Education

Ali joined the Fusion Dallas team after working several years as the Wellness Lead and Life Skills Instructor at the Fusion Plano campus. She earned her Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Montana in Missoula where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Ali then received her Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Los Angeles, California, graduating with a 4.0.

Experience

Ali worked as an actress in Hollywood, California for approximately 12 years. She had small roles in big films and big roles in small films. She also worked on numerous commercials, soap operas, music videos, and independent and industrial films. After her acting career, and obtaining her Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology, Ali went on to practice individual, group, and family therapy with teenagers and their families who were involved in Los Angeles gangs, assisting them through the difficult transition entering into or transferring out of incarceration. Ali's extensive work, life, and travel experiences have provided her with an endless amount of "life smarts" that she loves sharing with her Fusion family. She understands people and invests deeply in her students.

Fun Facts and Hobbies

  • Ali plays on an adult co-ed soccer team, goes rock climbing regularly, and enjoys the challenges of CrossFit.
  • In 2001, Ali had a corneal transplant but never regained vision in her left eye.
  • Ali does just about anything on a dare; running a marathon, sky diving solo, bungee-jumping, cliff diving, repelling, scuba diving, and eating a live goldfish (to be fair, she was in 6th grade) are just a few.
