Education

Lorin received her B.A. in English from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, as well as her secondary English teaching certificate.

Experience

After graduation, Lorin worked as a substitute in her local PA school district until she departed in June of 2010 for her Peace Corps service in Madagascar, where she taught English as a foreign language to 10th graders for two years. Upon returning stateside, Lorin has continued her career in education, working at both public and private schools and as a tutor for reading, math, and test prep.

  • Reads almost anything and everything she can find time to read
  • Knows more about urban vermicomposting than anyone you know
  • Can say "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" backwards as they do in the song ("but that's going a bit too far, don't you think?")
