Lorin Cowden

Teacher / Mentor

Lorin grew up in a military family, so she moved around a lot.  It was tough sometimes but gave her a lot of wonderful experiences she wouldn't trade for anything now.  After studying English and education at Seton Hill University, she taught ESOL as a Peace Corps volunteer at a high school in Madagascar.  Since returning stateside, she has taught in a variety of capacities at all levels, but has always enjoyed working with students one-on-one most, and she loves seeing the difference that an individualized experience makes for teens.  She is so excited to be here at Fusion in Columbia!
