Education

Katherine earned her Bachelor's degree from George Washington University, where she specialized in international relations, anthropology, and psychology. She also holds two Master's degrees: one in public policy (George Mason University) and one in communications (Georgetown University). Her thesis research focused on data privacy concerns affecting school-age children.

Experience

Katherine has always been passionate about working in education and got her start as an AmeriCorps voluneteer within the DC Public School system as an undergraduate. She has served as a teacher, mentor, resident advisor, and coach at various public, private, and international schools.
