Guylaine Daze

Guylaine Jodoin Dazé is excited to share her native language and teach French here at Fusion Academy! She has been a French tutor for the last 10 years, teaching all levels and all ages, from three years old on up to 75 years old. She has also taught French as an extra curriculum class in all the elementary schools in Hinsdale for five years.
Born and raised in Montréal, Québec, Guylaine earned her degree in Languages and French Literature, and completed her Translation certification at Alliance Française de Chicago. Even in college, she was drawn to education and started a mini business to help French-Canadian students with their grammar and French homework after school.
Guylaine and her husband have two children, one boy and one girl, and Guylaine encourages them both to be dual-language speakers. She enjoys spending holidays and summers traveling with her family to Saint-Sauveur, Québec. Other than sharing her French knowledge, Guylaine loves to cook and try new recipes and is a passionate animal advocate. She also enjoys skiing, biking, reading and spending quality time with her children, who are getting too big too fast!
