Guylaine has a college degree in languages and French literature from Cegep de St-Jerome in Quebec, Canada and a Certification in Interpreting and translation from Alliance Française in Chicago.
After graduating in translation, Guylaine became part of The CHICATA organization (interpreter and translator of Chicago) worked as a freelancer for them. Then, started a business as a French tutor, plus worked for 5 years for The Language Labs as a French teacher providing services for all elementary schools in district 181. Guylaine has been teaching/tutoring kids and adults of all ages for over 10 years now.
Fun Facts and Hobbies
- Used to teach horse back riding in my younger days, became an own entrepreneur at 16 starting tutoring French Canadian kids with grammar difficulties. Reading, skiing, tennis and cooking are activities she enjoy doing.
- Sang as a back up singer in a band, in my teenager years.
- Used to be a cast member in my High school plays.
