John earned a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Quebec in Montreal in 2003.
He worked for two years as a Professor at the University of Kaslik in Lebanon and for twelve years as an International Sales Director and Managing Director for different companies based in France, Lebanon and in the UK. He taught French to Graduate Students from Northwestern University when he arrived in Chicago. He started teaching French and Science at Fusion and after eight months, he became Director of Homework Café on the Lincoln Park campus. After three years as DHC, he moved back to teaching (French, Biology, and Life Science).
Fun Facts and Hobbies
- Passionate about baseball and hockey (he loves the Montreal Canadiens and Mike Modano is his favorite player), music and traveling, he enjoys spending time with his son, trying out new restaurants and spending time watching animal documentaries.
- His dream: to swim with a great white shark in New Zealand!
- His second dream: to see his son become a professional hockey player. Every Sunday, and since the age of three, his son takes lessons at the Evanston Rink with the hope that this dream will come true one day… it is already a good start!
