About Our Speaker:

Dr. Jason Hacker is a licensed adolescent and adult psychologist with a private practice in Chicago. He specializes in treating anxiety disorders and addictive behaviors including problematic video gaming and online media use. Dr. Hacker developed his clinical specialty working and training in university counseling centers in Chicago and Washington, D.C. Now in private practice, he helps clients learn to regulate emotional distress, develop healthy coping behaviors, and improve relationships. In addition, Dr. Hacker is a regular speaker at Chicago area schools, clinical training programs, and community events; he has held leadership positions within the American Psychological Association and has taught courses at Loyola University Chicago and American University in Washington D.C.
